Luísa Rosas creates exquisite fine jewellery that reflects her deep-rooted heritage and artistic vision. Since 2009, her designs have been shaped by a trilogy of influences, each contributing to the brand's unique identity.
The first pillar is her family’s legacy in goldsmithery, tracing back to 1860 when her great-great-grandfather, Mateus dos Santos Rosas, established a workshop in Northern Portugal. This rich heritage has instilled in Luísa a profound understanding of craftsmanship and an intimate connection with the tools and techniques of master goldsmiths. Growing up surrounded by this artistry has profoundly inspired her creative journey.
The second influence comes from her background in architecture. Before venturing into jewellery design, Luísa honed her skills in this field, which has infused her work with structural elegance and precision.
The third element of Luísa Rosas's vision is a deep appreciation for nature. This reverence is embodied in her motto, “The Shape of Nature,” and guides her in creating jewellery that resonates with the beauty of the natural world.
